Hyperventilation Summary: What it is all about?

Starting with the school reunion, the conversation between Myeongi and Sunho, now 24, took place in turn between there and 4 years ago when he was 14 years old at school.

Currently, Sunho comes out with Myeongi to smoke. A flashback occurs and during class, Mayongi starts coughing before Sunho is taken to the nurse’s office. Back in the present, outside the reunion they get intimate for the night with Kiss.

Sunho before being removed from their wedding ring at the request of the head of household Myong. A flashback to 9 years ago, upon leaving young Myeongi to the school doctor, Sunho thinks about him, then licks Myoongi with some saliva left on his hand.

In the present day, after placing his wedding ring on Myongi’s finger once he falls asleep, in the morning Sunho realizes that he is gone. Thinking about the ring, Myeongi recounts recent and past events and goes back to Sunho but finds that he has no idea what to say.

They meet again and hug, with Myoongi admitting that he left because of the ring. Sunho tells him that, in fact, he is not married, and that the ring is just for show.

Hyperventilation Plot Details: What Happens in the Anime?

The Hyperventilation is a Korean 7 chaptered Short Romantic Manhwa or Manga and is also the very first BL animation in South Korea. The anime series is about 2 old friendsLee Myong and Seonho who studied together in High School.

In this short series, they have shown that they both are reunited in their high school reunion. Where Myong who has a crush on Seonho has come to the reunion only to see him.

Later in the series, they have shown that they have a talk about their past experiences and soon Myeongi left from the party for a smoke as he left the party Seonho also follows him where they talk and smoke for a while until they get intimate. After that, they think about each other for some time and start the meeting.

Towards the end of the series, we can see some confusion regarding the ring in Sunho’s hand.

Because of the ring, there comes some tension between their relations but soon Sunho admits that the ring he is wearing is not an engagement ring and he wears it just for fun after that Myongi feels some relief and the story continues.

Hyperventilation Manga Review: Is It worth a watch?

The Hyperventilation show or short anime series is some of the very first Korean BL Animation which is rarely produced at that time in South Korea.

The short series of seven chapters take us through the intense and intimate love story of two High school friends who have reunited at a High school reunion party.

In the series, the character named Myongi had a crush on Sunho, and that’s why he came to the reunion party to see him. After that, we get to see the romance between the two Myongi and Sunho.

From there the love story of the two intensifies. But it also has some random flashbacks in the series and the story also seems kind of boring at some time.

The story of the romantic anime series hyperventilation is very simple there are no twists and turns which might have built up the interest of the viewers. But it is a nice one-time watch series which also ends fast as it has only 6 episodes in each chapter that too of 3 to 4 minutes each.
