It is on 1 on Netflix for many days. This definitely increases the possibility of a third season.

Why Netflix is taking so long for renewal of The Umbrella Academy Season 3?
As we know Netflix usually waits for a few months before the show is renewed. It basically goes through the numbers and estimates a goal for the next season. However, it is quite secretive about its number so we cannot know it.
From the looks of it though, we believe that the second season performed extremely well and lived up to the stage expectations. So we can hear about the renewal update by the end of this month.
