The two-part anime is directed by Jun Nakagawa. It is based on YUichiro Higashide’s novel series Date a Live fragment: Date a Bullet. It features Tokisaki. It is written as a spin-off date to a live sci-fi series by Koshi Tachibana. On August 14, 2020, the first release in about 7 theaters.
The second part which is Date a Bullet: Nightmare or Queen again features on the same theme as Informatica. It is composed by Go Sakabe. He has starred in the Date of a Live anime franchise since 2019 when its first anime was released. On the other hand, a new theme song was released by ED. It is sung by Rinmoon.

It is an extended unit project and features singer Reena – Reena Tsakishiro. The first song of the unit is precious. It has been described by the press as a song that introduces a delicate voice in brilliant music.
