RCB vs KKR IPL Match will be played today on 21 October, Banglore will take on Kolkata in today’s Match in Sheikh Zayed Stadium.
Let’s see what will be the probable PLaying 11, Toss and Win Predictions, Pitch and Weather Reports, and team previews.
RCB vs KKR IPL Match Predictions and Analysis
Having remained for the spinners for most of the tournament, the Kolkata Knight Riders strengthened their quick bowling lineup in their previous match and brought them back into business. With a new captain and a new-look bowling attack, Kolkata Knight Riders want to build on the momentum gathered with their win over Sunrisers Hyderabad.
They have a tough assignment, in which they will face Royal Challengers Bangalore who have done incredibly well this year. Both sides sit in the top half of the table and would like to keep it that way. This upcoming battle between the two sides has all the ingredients of a mouth-watering encounter played at the Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi on 21 October 2020.
RCB vs KKR Team Previews for Todays Match:
Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR)
It was one of the decisions that proved to be the reason for KKR’s win over SRH. The selection of Loki Ferguson immediately changed the dynamics of his team. Their bowling attack changed from being aggressive and paid off that change as they defended an under-par total on a wicket with no demon in fact.
As it currently stands, the Knight Riders are placed fourth in the points table with a net run-rate of -0.607. Their net run-rate is the worst among all teams in the tournament, but it does not matter that they win three of their remaining five matches.
Apart from two important points, KKR would have gained a lot of confidence from that super over victory over Sunrisers Hyderabad. Eoin Morgan as a captain did not get off to a great start and this win would do him great in boosting confidence among the team.
Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB):
Interestingly, Royal Challengers Bangalore’s last loss was against Kings XI Punjab, making it two in two in the tournament. He made some significant changes to his batting order, sending Washington Sundar and AB de Villiers ahead of AB de Villiers, and RCB finished as sub-par despite Chris Morrow’s superb performance by the end of the first innings.
He realized his mistake in the latter match as he sent AB de Villiers to finish work against Rajasthan Royals. While Virat Kohli has been quite good with his strategy in the tournament, overall, his strategy against KXIP was questionable.
In addition to sending AB de Villiers late in the sequence, he made several blunders in bowling which allowed Mayank Agarwal and KL Rahul to come in the middle. Looking at KKR’s batting unit, he would not like to repeat the same mistakes against Kohli and expect him to be very aggressive from the start.
KKR vs RCB Predicted Playing XI:
Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR)
Rahul Tripathi, Shubman Gill, Nitish Rana, Dinesh Karthik (WK), Eoin Morgan (C), Andre Russell / Sunil Naren, Pat Cummins, Shivam Mavi, Lockie Fusion, Varun Chakraborty and Kuldeep Yadav / Siddesh Lad
Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB)
Aaron Finch, Devdutt Padikkal, Virat Kohli (C), AB de Villiers (WK), Gurkeerat Singh, Shahbaz Ahmed, Chris Morris, Washington Sundar, Isuru Udana, Yuzvendra Chahal and Navdeep Saini
KKR VS RCB Toss and Win Predictions:
Unlike the trend in the first half of the tournament, the other batting teams are enjoying the end of their time. The same happened in the previous match as the dew in the first innings made batting very easy. We expect this fact to play in the minds of both captains and who wins the toss is expected to field first.
KKR vs RCB: Sheikh Zayed Stadium Pitch and Weather Reports:
Prior to the previous match, the total first innings in Abu Dhabi was 167. However, a low score by CSK in the first innings would have moved that average further down. While this field has small boundaries, it will be difficult to score here due to the dry surface.
The ball is unlikely to come on the bat and it is becoming difficult to play through the line. As in the previous match here, there is a possibility of playing dew and the role and other batting can be quite easy.
Spinners and hit deck bowlers are likely to enjoy their time here. Keeping all these things in mind, the team batting first must be in the game even after scoring a total of 155 runs.
