What do we know about The Stand?
Is an adaptation of the 1978 novel by acclaimed horror writer, Stephen King. The series takes place in an apocalyptic world and follows the struggle of the evil and good survivors of a plague. The official Synopsis for The Stand reads: “The fate of mankind rests on the shoulders of 108-year-old Mother Abagel (played by Gopi Goldberg) and a handful of survivors.
“His worst nightmares were embodied in a man with a deadly smile and inexplicable powers: Randall Flagg (Alexander Skarsgard), the Dark Man.” King also wrote a new ending for the screen adaptation as the show is a limited series and will not end on a cliffhanger.

What is the Release Date of The Stand?
We know that this is a 1978 novel that inspired this series of horror stories. It has now been officially confirmed by the director that the series will be released on December 17, 2020. A new episode will be released weekly and there will be 10 such episodes. This is due to confirmation of the date of how sure we are about it.

Deadline reports Heather Graham (The Rest of Us, Lost in Space, Boogie Nights) is the latest high-profile of the cast. She will play Rita Blakemoor, who is described as “a wealthy woman who is ill for the end of the world and attempts to flee New York City suffering from superflu.”
There is only one person who can lead the powers of light in CBS All Access’s The Stand. James Marsden joins the cast and will lead the forces of the good, Stu Redman.
