Founded in 2074, nations and civilizations around the world have collapsed after a mysterious catastrophe, and small micro-states have formed across Europe. These subtle states, known as “tribes”, each with its own culture, are waging war to claim dominance over the continent.

Technology is infrequent and considered highly valuable. A mysterious plane crashes outside a forest that is home to a peaceful tribe known as the original tribe. After much consideration, the tribe leader Jakob leads a hunting party to investigate the landing site.

Jakob’s children Lilliv, Kino and Elja discover the injured pilot and decide to help him. Elaja stumbles upon a mysterious cube not far from the plane. Elsewhere, the commander of the crows (a barbaric and barbaric tribe) is also searching for the cube and tasks with finding and fetching the god Varvara.

Back in the jungle, the pilot reveals that he lives from Atlantia and predicts an impending threat that will wipe out humanity.

He works just before Kouza attacks Kouza to return the arc and mostly kills the tribe of Origins. Jakob and Piano are captured, and Lliv is stabbed and presumed dead, while Elijah escapes amidst the chaos.

Elja hides in a workshop and meets her boss, the crook, Moses (the dominant Han Solo vibes), who saves Elja from the crow. Lliv was rescued by the Crimsons, a military force and taken to their base. Jacob and Kayano are taken to the town of Brathok, the crow’s home.

We learn a little more about the cultures and backgrounds of Crows and Crimson as Kino and Lliv explore their new surroundings. The two are looking for a reunion with their family, and they face many challenges in this quest.

Ella focuses solely on finding the Ark with the help of Moses. In the end, Lliv gets caught up with the internal politics of the Crimsons and Kiano has to win a gladiatorial match to earn his freedom. Elsewhere, Elja and Moses manage to locate the Ark after running into some trouble.

Tribes of Europa Season 1 Ending: Will Siblings Reunite?

In the first episode, we see Lliv, Kiano, and Elja share a strong brotherly bond, and they also promise each other that they will always be together. However, during the series, the siblings split up and go through their separate journeys.

By the end of season 1, Lilliv tried everything in his ability to free his father and brother from Brathok. These efforts seem ready to bear fruit in the finale; However, her plan to replace Grita (a crow captured by the Crimans) for her brother and father goes wrong and a fight ensues between the two tribes.

She manages to escape but is barely rescued by her and the Femen tribe. Kyano inserts herself into the good books of Lord Varvara and earns her freedom after winning in a gladiatorial match, but her freedom comes at a great cost as she has to kill her father, Jacob, to win.

Finally, Elja and Moses arrive at Arc’s place, but Cube runs out of power before instructing them further. Ila throws the cube into the sea in a moment of despair, and the cube swings into mid-air before dropping into the water.

A large container comes out of the water. Elja and Moses enter the container, and we cut to the credit. But they are destined to end up in Atlantia, and the container, in all probability, takes them there.

The siblings have moved in all new directions and are pushing them away from each other. Lliv will likely join Fomen, while Caio appears committed to him by rising from slavery to join the ranks of slaves, and Elja has shown valor in Atlantia.

Will siblings cross paths again? it’s likely; They will eventually reunite, leading to some tense conflicts, especially when Lilliv and Elja find out that Piano killed their father. There is also a rapid threat of black swarm, and siblings scramble over Europa to fight this emerging threat.

What is Black December in Tribes of Europa Season 1?

At the beginning of the series, we find an expository text suggesting that a catastrophe has wiped out the previous world order and called it “Black December”.

However, some dialogues suggest that no one knows what happened, and they all have their own theories, ranging from cyber-attacks to military super-viruses. Moses revealed that in December 2029, everything driven by technology went wrong, followed by a global blackout on 31 December.

All types of transport and communication systems collapsed, and the world was pushed into a dark age. Moses’ words are the only concrete information in the entire series. The reason and person responsible for Black December is shrouded in mystery.

What is a cube in Tribes of Europa Season 1?

When Elja first arrives in the cube, it is a mysterious artwork for her and the audience. We later find out that the cube is a piece of Atlantean technology. The Atlantean pilot reveals that Cube can lead Elja to all the answers he is looking for, including information about Black December.

But to get an answer, Elja must return the cube to his home, Ark. We know that technology is valuable in the world of Europe’s world tribes, but according to Moses, the Atlantean origin of the cube has made it worth a fortune.

In addition, the Cube is also an efficient guidance system, can transform into a destructive laser gun, and carries an important message, which we will discuss in a moment.

What are dark tones in Tribes of Europa?

Moses and Elza take the cube to Moses’ friend and a mechanic. He manages to fix the cube. Upon activation, the cube reveals a holographic video message, but the feed is disruptive and unclear because the cube does not fully repair.

We get a better look at the red-tinted footage when Elja activates the cube in front of Bracker, and we see a person (possibly Atlantis pilot) surveying an unknown area.

Viewers can see red-black storm clouds forming, and they separate everything in their path, becoming larger and larger. This secret footage is never explained, but we receive a small clue in an earlier scene.

Bracker, Moses, and Elja meet at the camp with an Asian family who reveal that they had to flee their home in the east due to “black swarms”. They also state that a person dies after seeing black swarms.

The clouds we see in the footage may be black swarms, and the danger that the pilot of Atlanta warned Elja.

Who are the tribes of Europa?

The series introduces us to the peaceful group of originals who remain in hiding position and are quickly eliminated by the end of the first episode. The Crows are a barbaric tribe, and the Crimson are a military force.

The series details the cultures of these two tribes, but there is nothing terrible about Atlantis. We know that they are the most technologically advanced tribe in Europa and the only tribe that managed to survive until the Black December.

Furthermore, everything else about them, even their location, remains unknown. However, at the end of the season finale, Elja and Moses locate the Arc, which will likely lead them to the whereabouts of Atlantis.

In the final episode, we are also introduced to a new tribe, when the Lollies are caught in a war between the Crows and the Criminals. She is rescued by a woman on a horse wearing an Amazonian-inspired costume (Wonder Woman theme), she introduces herself as a member of the Fayman tribe.

Should season 2 get the series, we will likely learn more about the Atlantean and Femin tribes.
