Willy’s Wonderland Plot Recap: What happens in the movie?
A quiet drifter is trapped in Far Haysville, Nevada, when his vehicle breaks down after running over the spike strip. She is raised by mechanic Jade Love, who takes her to the once successful abandoned family entertainment center, Willie Wonderland.
Owner Tex Macadu offers to work as a watchman on the night shift in exchange for his vehicle being repaired. While the janitor begins his cleaning work, Tex and Jade leave until the next morning, but not before leaving him locked in the building.
The restaurant’s now withered eight animatronic mascots – Willie Weasel, Artie Alligator, Kemi Chameleon, Ozzie Ostrich, Tito Turtle, Nighty Knight, Gus Gorilla and Siren Sara – are revealed to be alive and aggressive.
Ozzy attacks the ostrich watchman, who kills Ozzie with a wipe. Meanwhile, Liv and her friends arrive at Willie’s Wonderland, submerging the perimeter with gasoline until Liv decides to enter through the vent to take out the janitor.
Inside, the watchman is attacked by Gus Gorilla in the toilet; He kills Gus by pressing his face into the urinal. In the vents, Liv is pursued by Artie Alligator, but she escapes into a fairy-themed room, where siren Sara attacks her.
The next morning, Tex and Jade return to the building and find it completely clean, with the animatronics destroyed. The watchman receives his repaired vehicle and invites Liv to accompany him.
While Tex and Jade discuss plans to reopen Willie Wonderland, siren Sara suddenly appears and sets fire to their car with gasoline. The trio is killed in a massive explosion that also destroys the entire restaurant.

The only option for Willy’s wonderland is to put a silent, emotionless cage into a crazy state, which is not working. It is shallow, on the threshold of outrageous, to assume that the viewer only wants Cage to be present as if he is more memorable than the artist.
The twist of the film that I knew it had to go into … It was like this, I knew it couldn’t be just a horror film. It had to be a twist. Every horror film that you and I have seen, we have Passed has a villain who is omnipotent, capable of threatening heroes or heroines.
Victims in movies from beginning to almost the end, and then our heroes always come up with a way to defeat the villain. Or at least the next sequel to them. Pause for a while. Well, I wanted to go in exactly the opposite direction.
I wanted a film in which the villains, who are super-powerful, kick their asses from the start! And I wanted to It’s so absurd, that the character’s purpose is just that he has to clean a restaurant.
I thought it would be a lot of fun, just this guy who just wants to clean up and leave the place. He has some other purpose. No, he has no backstory, you don’t even know his name. He just wants to clean up and leave, and whatever happens, is more annoyance than anything else.
Willy’s Wonderland Review: Should you watch the movie or not?
After a long week, I wanted a dumb-fun movie with a major action star with Mano A Mano going with the killer animatronic puppet. This seems like an easy formula for a good time.
About the time Cage was attacking a giant gorilla with a rider and then kicking against the urinal in his brain, I realized that none of it was fun.
The movie has disappointed many viewers around the world, but if you are a Nicolas Cage fans you must watch it. You will not be disappointed.
