Not now, but Wentworth will have season 9. Apparently, before the pandemic, the series was renewed for Season 9 sometime back.

Wentworth Season 8 Recap: What happened till Now?
As Wentworth begins, Joan Ferguson (Pamela Rabe) has a nightmare at Vera’s (Kate Atkinson) ‘s house before checking out the weeping Grace. Dr. Greg Miller (David de Lautour) wakes up Joan who was sleeping in therapy.
She confirms that she has not had any hallucinations, but does not want to be alone. Lu hides and goes to the bathroom to kill Ellie. She admits to being there but she does not tell him who beat up Ellie.

When Mary leaves, the transport vehicle arrives for Ferguson. Vera tracks Greg into the parking lot and tries to convince him that his testimony will put a psycho on the streets.
Seconds later, Ellie is attacked from behind and stabbed in the back several times but it is not Loo. Judy is. She leaves before Lu enters. Eli sees Lu standing over him before he leaves, and Eli is soaked in blood.
Judy hears a news report that reports Schwartz being killed as he was leaving his convoy. She sends someone $ 40,000 and calls them to thank them for doing a good job. Then, she breaks the phone. Ferguson walks out with a spit bag and his memories return.
He remembers who he is and everything he has done. Linda returns and removes the mask before she sees Ferguson in the mirror, saying that she is Joan Ferguson.
