When will The Tomorrow War Release on Amazon Prime?
The Tomorrow War release date on Amazon Prime Video is July 2, 2021. The film was initially scheduled for a theatrical release from Paramount Pictures in the Christmas 2020 window, but the studio postponed it.
With all the COVID-19 related disruptions, the rights to The Tomorrow War were eventually sold to Amazon, which is maintaining the summer launch window and bringing the film to its streaming service.
Since this is an Amazon Prime exclusive, there’s not a very good chance that “The Tomorrow War” will get a second release date on other platforms any time soon.

The Tomorrow War Trailer Explained: What does it Reveal about the Movie?
Amazon Prime Video today released the official trailer for The Tomorrow War, the upcoming film directed by Chris McKay, starring Chris Pratt, J.K. Simmons, Yvonne Strahovski, Betty Gilpin, Sam Richardson, and Edwin Hodge.

The teaser trailer only mentions war 30 years in the future but doesn’t explain how one of the major selling points of the film. On top of that, the footage leaves a lot to be desired, which looks like some sort of Call of Duty game, without the threat of alien invaders.
Seriously, even if you go frame-by-frame in the final shot, you’ll notice that there are no aliens to be seen. I’m not sure if the aliens’ design is still being finalized or if the visual effects department hasn’t completed a single shot of them in the film.
But Amazon should wait until they have a tease before teasing it. Nothing else is enough to show. kind of movie. This is a bad teaser trailer and it does nothing to get me excited about the film.
