The Seventh Day Ending Explained: Why the father was killed?
Two exorcist priests team up to stop the evil that is possessed by a young boy, Charlie. The boy created a ruckus and killed his entire family. And then, everyone presents at the police station.
Somehow, they both manage to control the demonic spirit inside the boy. And after that, they took the captured boy and walked towards his house. Later, Father Peter leaves everything under his control to Father Daniel.
And do the exorcism exercise on the captured Charlie. However, Father Daniel meanwhile learns that it is not Charlie who has. But this whole time, it was Father Peter.
Peter fights back in vengeance, but Daniels stabs Peter in the throat with a pectoral cross. The murder coincides with the opening scene of the film, which takes place 25 years earlier, and sees a young Peter witnessing the murder of his own master by a similar boy.
After stabbing Peter, the demon who lives inside tries to keep Daniel, but Daniel is eventually able to resist the capture and escape. Father Daniel learns that Father Peter was, in fact, possessed by a demon during the 1995 incident.
And from then on, whatever priests he had taken under his wing, the demon made sure to keep them too. This demon was creating a whole network of demon-possessed priests.
Therefore, now Father Daniel was tasked with either the exorcism or the execution of all the captured priests, as he had done with Father Peter. Here, we learn that Father Kevin really wanted the demon to take over Daniel.

The Seventh Day Review: Great Exorcism Movie!
Father Peter makes it clear – very quickly – to Daniel that this is not a job for the faint of heart. To be able to fight the demons the priests need to have complete reliance on their belief in God.
He even says that every priest has a story behind becoming an exorcist. The two holy men face their first exorcism together, and the reason why Father Peter warned Father Daniel there becomes clear.
They encounter a fierce and timid monster who lurks in the place you least suspect. Overall, “The Seventh Day” can be a little cheesy at times, but there were a few jump scares that got my heart pounding.
The suspense built throughout the film made me sit on the edge of my seat, and it helped me enjoy it. If you enjoy exorcism movies, I highly recommend this movie.
