Kingdom Ending: Everything you should know!
Kingdom (Korean: ; RR: Kingdom) is a 2019 South Korean political period horror thriller streaming television series created and written by Kim Eun-hee and directed by Kim Seong-hyun and Park In-jae. It is Netflix’s first original Korean series, [b] which premiered on January 25, 2019.

During Korea’s Joseon Dynasty, three years after the Imjin War, the first season of Kingdom follows the story of Crown Prince Lee Chang (Joo Ji-hoon) and his subordinates, who stumble into an unnatural plague that leads them to investigate.

Beech resurrects the dead. An ongoing political conspiracy and rumors of the death of the King of Joseon. Amidst the ensuing chaos and death,
Chang meets allies who try to make a stand in the Sanju city-state before spreading further into the province, only to find that the plague has already adapted.
The second season hides a sinister secret that follows the mighty Heaven Cho clan’s plot to save his people from the spread of the plague and his dynasty during Lee Chang’s struggle.

Kingdom Ending Explained: Who’s The New Prince?
In the end things are not looking so good even on the edge of the state. As we learn of the prince’s fate, viewers are also introduced to earlier versions of Chang and Seo Bei, who again encounter the Resurrection Flower near the Chinese border.
After discovering that someone from China is selling flowers to local Korean villagers, new corpses appear, but this time with bells attached to their feet.
It’s at this point where we suddenly meet a new character who’s intentionally spreading the virus – and she’s also keeping some of the infected as pets.
Queen Consort Cho, who spread the disease to appease her ego, takes the supposedly child prince with her and allows herself to eat alive with the child in her arms.
This child was not the prince but the son of Moo Young. When the queen dies, Doctor Seo Bi manages to save the infected child by drowning her in water.

Prince Chang had options before him. Either, he can kill the baby prince and become king, or he can let him live. He had assumed that this would lead to the partition of the country as some might support him and some might support the child.
He thus runs away from the kingdom and orders the others that he should be pronounced dead. The newborn son will be the ruler. It is not yet clear whether this mysterious figure wants to take the kingdom for herself or simply watch it burn to the ground.
It’s not clear who this new attacker is, but we do know what they look like. The final moments of Kingdom Season 2 take place in a cluttered house. This place is littered with body parts and the dead that have been sealed off.
In the midst of all this madness stands an unnamed young woman, played by Joon Ji-hyun. Before the Kingdom the actor has starred in My Sassy Girl, Windstruck, The Thieves and The Berlin Files.
