Midnight Mass is an American supernatural horror streaming television miniseries created and directed by Mike Flanagan for Netflix. The cast includes Zach Guilford, Kate Siegel, Hamish Linklater and Rahul Kohli.
The series centers around an isolated island community that experiences supernatural events following the arrival of a mysterious priest. The series was released on Netflix on September 24, 2021.

Midnight Mass Season 1 Ending Explained: What happens with Annie?
In episode 1, we see a scene in which a mysterious person enters the pastor’s house. He slides a giant chest onto the floor and unlocks it. Strange things happen. In episode 7, Monsignor Pruitt says that he bribed and lied to smuggle Angel inside the trunk to Crockett Island.
Annie, who doubts what can be achieved with the knife, offers to go out as a distraction, as she “likes a word with Bev Keane”. It’s a great moment with a sad moment as we know Annie is unlikely to recover from the encounter.
But, as Erin and the kids run through the back window, Annie finally tells Bev what she needs to hear – that she’s not a good person, not a hero, and that God doesn’t love her more than she does. loves someone else.
It’s about time someone told Bev what that was. After speaking her mind, Annie slits her throat, denying the satisfaction of letting anyone take her out, and Bev lowers herself (literally) to the animalistic side she’s always been above. pretended, on her knees and drinking Annie’s blood.
During a final mass in “Book VI: Acts of the Apostles,” Father Paul reveals his true identity to his followers. Then he took their faith a step further, revealed the angel to them and offered them his blood.

But it was Mildred Gunning (Alex Aso), the woman who used to have dementia but was recently rejuvenated through secret angel blood, who took action. Holding Sheriff Hassan’s (Rahul Kohli) gun, he shoots Pari, a move that turns the church service into chaos.

The angel grabbed Mildred and flew away just before the congregation’s bloodshed began. Immortal members of the church began to attack human members, turning the church into a battlefield.
A handful of members were able to escape, but that did not change the fact that it was an all-out war. One could assume – as TheWrap did – that Lisa’s line meant that The Angel didn’t make it away in time and was also burned by the Sun, just off-screen, and thus of the heavenly creature. Whatever properties in the blood that allow him to use his legs have stopped working in him.
However, when TheWrap pointed out “Midnight Mass” writer Mike Flanagan, who’s also the mastermind behind Netflix’s “The Haunting of Hill House” and “The Haunting of Bailey Manor,” we assumed that was his end, We were told that our theory was wrong. But Flanagan “loves that this is your read,” so don’t lose faith if that was your takeaway too.
