Waterworld Ending: Everything you should know!
Waterworld is a 1995 American post-apocalyptic action film directed by Kevin Reynolds and co-written by Peter Rader and David Twohey.
It was based on Radar’s original 1986 screenplay and stars Kevin Costner, who also produced it with Charles Gordon and John Davis. It was distributed by Universal Pictures.

As the highest point on the planet, it makes sense that their dry land haven would be Mount Everest, and the apparent connection to our world would probably have landed better.
The reveal is what made Reynolds want to direct the film in the first place, as it reminded him of Planet of the Apes. However, he left the film at the end of post-production, so Waterworld was released in theaters without the Everest plaque.
Later, it was brought back for an extended deduction. The film is even more relevant now than it was in 1995, as climate change becomes an ever-increasing threat.
In truth, melting ice caps wouldn’t cover that much of Mount Everest, but the film wasn’t aiming for accuracy. Screenwriter Peter Rader told the BBC, he “wanted to create something that would initiate this immediate concern for the planet, but under the guise of a popcorn movie.”
In the post-apocalyptic “waterworld”, the polar ice caps have melted, and ocean ranges have risen by about 8200 m, submerging many lands underwater.
Humans live in the sea, but instead of feathers, they do not bite to stay in the water with the help of limbs. That’s why people still grow wood and dream of dry land every time and wherever they go.
Freshwater and pure grass are the rarest items. But the quirky little Enola and her visions give us some hope as people say the tattoo resurfaced on her is a map on dry land.
The map is very valuable, and thus the smokers and their chief, Deacon, need Enola lifeless or alive. The smokers chase Enola, and when forced out, Helen steers clear of the map.

He believes that the tattoo on Enola’s back will lead him to dry land, although the Mariner knows better. He takes her on an underwater journey to “dry land”, habitable cities submerged under water.
Much of the ice that worries environmentalists is sea ice and snowflakes, not because of the potential for flooding, but as an indicator of rising temperatures around the world.
The ice already floating in the ocean could melt completely, and it would not change the sea level at all. This is because floating ice, which floats because its volume is larger than when it is in liquid form, has already displaced the water around it as it melts.
So the melting of sea ice is a matter of concern, but it will not affect sea level. Polar ice caps, which rest on land, can affect sea levels when they melt. However, there is only enough ice to raise the total sea level by about 61 meters.
It will have a huge impact on coastal cities, which you can see in this National Geographic map, but it also won’t touch Denver, which sits at 5280 feet above current sea level.
