Is Money Heist Season 6 Canceled by Netflix?
As Netflix releases Money Heist Part 5 Volume 2 on December 3, 2021, viewers may be wondering if there will be another season. Sadly, it was already announced in July 2020 that Money Heist Season 5 will be the last of the show.
This was also made clear in the trailer for Money Heist Season 5, Volume 2, as the words “the world’s greatest heist comes to an end” were intertwined with intense scenes from the series.
When will Money Heist Season 6 Release on Netflix?
Netflix doesn’t plan to launch the series until 2023, so no plot details have been revealed yet, but it’s possible that it could continue the story of season five involving Berlin and his estranged son Rafael.
Considering Morte’s comments that season five is a pivotal ending for his Money Heist characters as well as his current high-profile gig on Prime Video’s The Wheel of Time — we don’t hold out for cameos from The Professor and his colleagues.

“We’ve always looked for characters with a very complex, layered design,” he continued. “So I think there’s a duality in almost every character in Money Heist that we would like to see in a spinoff. We can see any of them in other contexts.”
