House of Gucci is a 2021 American biographical crime drama film directed by Ridley Scott, based on the 2001 book The House of Gucci: A Sensational Story of Murder, Madness, Glamour, and Greed by Sarah Gay Ford.

The House of Gucci is a dramatic account of how Reggiani planned to kill her husband, Aldo’s nephew Maurizio Gucci, played by Adam Driver, and is based on Sarah’s book The House of Gucci: A Sensational Story of Murder.

At House of Gucci, De Soul worked at the company long before Maurizio considered joining. De Soul can be seen at all Gucci family gatherings, notably seeing Paolo and working closely with Rodolfo.

In real life, however, de Soul has had the Gucci family as a client for years, helping them through their restructurings. At Rodolfo’s insistence, De Soul later joined the Gucci company, but he did so only in 1984 when Maurizio started the family business.
