Scream (also known informally as Scream 5) is an upcoming American slasher film that serves as the fifth installment of the Scream film series. It is directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillette and written by James Vanderbilt and Guy Busick.
The film is produced by Vanderbilt, Paul Nienstein, and William Sherak, with original screenwriter Kevin Williamson serving as executive producer.

Scream Plot Details
Scream (2022) has managed to hide its story. We know that the murder will bring Sydney back to Woodsboro to face Ghostface once again. This is evident from this “Welcome home, Sydney” message from the Scream Twitter account in September 2020.
And we can find out a portion of the rest. Many people will die, Sydney will become angry and fight the antagonist, and a somewhat shocking twist will reveal a new killer.
The trailer that every fan has been waiting for finally arrived on October 12. Sid returns to town to help Sam, whose brother Tara is attacked by Ghostface. Apparently, the initial string of attacks is against people who are related to the original killers’ Billy and Stu.
The clip shows Ghostface in an even more ominous light, his tone darker and his figure hovering in the shadows and over the victims. This film is going to rock.
Scream New Posters Revealed!
Just last week, the upcoming revival of the legendary horror property revealed posters from its old cast, celebrating the iconic trio of Sidney, Davey, and Gail.
After wrapping up an exciting live-streamed event for CCXP Worlds 2021, the film has unveiled a poster for nearly every cast member.
In a series of cast posters, we see the return of franchise alum Judy Hicks and the entire next generation of Scream Youth — with the film’s new tagline reading, “It’s always someone you know.”

On social media, the official account noted the character’s personality, such as Mindy Meeks-Martin “knowing the rules” and Judy noting that her bullet-proof vest joke in the previous film “is not a knife.”
