The final cliffhanger is here to silence me. Our trio, who have now been allowed to live in this apartment building, everyone wanted to be kicked out, celebrate their successes on the roof of the apartment building.
But when Mabel heads out briefly to get some more champagne, Oliver and Charles receive a bewildering text from an unknown number, instructing them to leave now. And a convoy of sirens appears at their front door.
And when Oliver and Charles go to help Mabel, they find her covered in blood, kneeling before the body of the crotchety landowner Bunny, her knitting needle pierced through the bunny’s neck.

Amy Ryan’s life killed Tim Kono. The two were having a secret love affair that broke up shortly before Tim’s death. Jan discovers the emerald ring that Tim was tracking down to bring Dimasse to justice and assumes that he has found another woman for the shack.
Consumed by jealousy, Jan drugged Tim to incapacitate him and shoots him in such a way as to make his death appear like a suicide. Jan confesses this to Charles and is eventually caught by the police.
Ten years before Tim Kono’s death, Zoe – one of Mabel’s “Hardy Boys” group of friends, along with Tim and Oscar – died from the roof of The Arconia during a New Year’s Eve party. Her boyfriend, Oscar, was framed for murder and spent ten years in prison.
However, in episode 7 “The Boy from 6B”, it was revealed that Zoe had fallen off the roof with Theo Dimas while carrying the emerald ring stolen from Theo’s apartment – the same life she had found years before Tim Tenn was killed.
Although Tim witnessed Zoe’s accident, Theo’s father Teddy blackmails Tim into keeping quiet. Tim appears to have obtained the emerald to expose Dimasse’s jewelry scheme and acquit Oscar, but Jan murders him before he has the chance.
While searching Tim’s belongings for any missed clues, Oliver and Mabel discover that what they once believed to be a sex toy is actually a bassoon cleaner.
But there is only one known bassoon player living in Arconia, and she is dating Charles. Immediately, these two points connect —Jan was Tim’s secret girlfriend. This in itself is not grounds for a murder charge,

But once it is discovered, so much of January starts to make sense. Her timing of beginning her relationship with Charles seems too convenient. As cute as it may sound from the outside, it made her work with the murder-solving squad into the room,
And track their progress as they put the pieces together. He pored over their research, poked holes in their theories, and eventually upset everyone so much that they were thrown out of the room.

But as Charles and Oliver make their way through, she says, “It’s not what you think.” It’s not really clear what exactly happened, but all three seem to be prime suspects in the next case as they get arrested.
