The Season 1 finale gave us as many questions as it answered. We finally found out who killed Tim Kono, and it wasn’t originally suspicious demesne. Instead, it was Jan (Amy Ryan), Charles’ girlfriend and Arconia native’s bassoon player,
She despised it after her relationship with Tim didn’t end. But the final moments of the episode present a new crime for us to investigate: the murder of the building manager Bunny.
We see Oliver (Short), Mabel (Gomez), and Charles (Martin) be arrested for the crime—she was found in Mabel’s arms, stabbed with her knitting needles, Because she was in Mabel’s apartment,
And Mabel was found humpbacked on her body, covered in blood, officers consider her the prime suspect. Therefore, Charles and Oliver are seen as moneylenders with him.
However, only murders always have up their sleeves, so it doesn’t look like all three of them are involved or that we’ve met the killer yet. As we learn more about Bunny’s background, later on, we may discover that the old lady is actually involved with some nefarious allies,
Or angry neighbors other than podcasters. John Hoffman told EW that if you want to start searching yourself, the first questions to ask are whether Bunny was alone in Mabel’s apartment and how deadly knitting needles really are.

What to expect from the Plot of Only Murders in the Building Season 2?
The first season of “Only Murder in the Building” focuses on the investigation of the murder of Tim Kono by Charles, Mabel, and Oliver. Mabel’s childhood friend Tim learns that he is Tim. Over time, a true-crime podcast featuring the trio’s findings becomes popular.
Jan, Charles’ fiancé and Tim’s ex-girlfriend, murders him in the season-ending episode. In the end, Jane is taken into custody on suspicion of killing Tim. In the midst of their celebration, Charles, Oliver and Mabel get caught up in a new murder case.
Charles flops around the building to grab the attention of Mabel and Oliver, and the three manage to aid in Jan’s arrest. But they don’t have long to celebrate before the fire alarm goes off in Arconia,
And Charles and Oliver run down the stairs to find Mabel at her apartment, where she is found kneeling before a corpse. She tells her friends, “It’s not what you think,” but maybe she’s lying? This certainly wouldn’t be the first time Mabel has distorted the truth.
Still, becoming the fan-favorite Cold Blooded Slayer seems like a stretch. It’s more likely that other nefarious forces are at play, but we won’t get a better look at them until the show begins filming Season 2.
