The Book of Boba Fett Review: Everything you should know!
The Book of Boba Fett is an American space western television series created by Jon Favreau for the streaming service Disney+. It is part of the Star Wars franchise taking place after the events of Return of the Jedi (1983).
The series is a spin-off from The Mandalorian, which features crime lord and bounty hunter Boba Fett from that series and other Star Wars media. The book by Boba Fett co-exists with the other Mandalorian spin-off, Ahsoka.

Temuera Morrison starred as the title character, with Ming-Na Wen also starring as Fennec Shand. Both reprise their roles from The Mandalorian and other Star Wars media.
It took several attempts to develop a standalone Star Wars film centered on Boba Fett before Lucasfilm began prioritizing its own streaming series like The Mandalorian.
A possible spin-off series was first reported in November 2020 and was officially announced in December. By that time filming had begun, and ran until June 2021. It premiered on December 29, 2021, and will run for seven episodes till February 9, 2022.

“The Book of Boba Fett,” the latest expansion in the “Star Wars” franchise, comes at an indeterminate time; The big-screen strategy for the Lucasfilm universe ran into creative exhaustion by 2019’s “The Rise of Skywalker,”
Which disappointed hardcore and casual fans alike. In the intervening time, TV has been the staging ground for “Star Wars” adventures, with the giddy serial “The Mandalorian” repairing some of the damage.
And in its first episode, Disney Plus dropped on December 29, “The Book of Boba Fett” suggests a possible path. It is early days for the series, which launched with one episode.
But suffice it to say this: The pilot, directed by Robert Rodriguez, offers an elegant denial to Lord of the Unreasonable narrative or aesthetic complexity.
The story – depicting the rise of the famed bounty hunter – begins with clean narrative lines, crisp visuals, and an engaging central performance that takes off Fate’s helmet but keeps his mystery intact.
The way this shot was achieved was quite an impressive technical move. As spotted by Cinematic Capture on Twitter, the filmmaking team at The Book of Boba Fett actually blended footage shot by George Lucas for Attack of the Clones with fresh-film material for a seamless scene.
Boba Fett has always had more mystery than just his actual appearance. Appearing in two films for about five minutes, he was always an action figure first and a character second.
He was made into The Ultimate Badass by fans, and in turn appeared in licensed novels, comic books, and video games, with leading producer George Lucas embodying his backstory in the “Star Wars” prequels,
And Boba’s dad Jango the ancestor of the Clone Army, at the center of the spoken-in-hushed-tone Clone Wars, was hinted at in the original 1977 film.

While this inclusion may have sounded grim or cynical at the time, it landed Morrison decades later, a talented performer who could tell a lot in the part with the arched eyebrows and finally letting the character match the screen. His badass reputation.
Daniel Logan, who played Boba Fett in Attack of the Clones, is actually the one who made the difference between footage shot earlier and a new bit of a child star seen from over the shoulder.
The premiere episode was only shown to critics, but it’s a good one. It is written by Favreau, and is one of three episodes directed by Robert Rodriguez that is really comfortable with action, humor, and special effects.
Boba Fett’s book is full of all three. It tells in flashback how Boba escaped death long ago – and also picks up the current storyline, in which Boba and Fenech are trying to rule the city after killing their ruthless dictator.
Boba hopes to set a more liberal rule – but his partner, Fenek, has other ideas. She is played by Ming-Na Wen, who played a martial-arts expert in the ABC series Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD, and portrays an even tougher character here.
