The series is an adaptation of Critical Role’s first Dungeons & Dragons campaign, with season one ending on a fairly shocking cliffhanger that completely set up season two — especially if you like dragons.
After being brought before King Uriel Tal’dori, the ruler of the Tal’dori Empire, Vox Machina is shocked to learn that Uriel was abdicating the throne to leave the rule of the kingdom to the Council of Tal’dori, claiming that Vox Machina’s teamwork inspired his choice.
